From the second crop of Newhaven Park Stud’s Group 1-winning Savabeel stallion Cool Aza Beel whose first crop hit the ground running with four to the track so far for two stakes placed performers as well as a dual winner, Lot 1224 is the second foal of the two-time winning Pierro mare Il Professionale.

From the extended family of some outstanding Group 1 winners including Think It Over, Universal Price and Universal Queen, this colt is out of a Pierro mare, broodmare sire of 14 stakes performers led by Group 1 winner Jacquinot.

It is also worth nothing that D’Argento is a son of So You Think, with that sire working already in this family through the 14 time winner Think It Over, successful at Group 1 level on three occasions with earnings over $8.4m.
