D’Argento’s Due Calzini Trials In Style
Goulburn trainer Danielle Seib doesn’t trial many horses in town, but she did bring D’Argento gelding Due Calzini (pictured below) to Sydney and he duly saluted with Tyler Schiller in the saddle.
Congrats @SeibRacing, @RacingJJJ & connections of D'Argento 2yo Due Calzini, a stylish winner of his first trial. Secured from our 2023 @mmsnippets draft, we're excited to be offering another 9 by D'Argento at the 2024 sale: https://t.co/n2YaHpcAvF@anz_news @TTRAusNZ @breednet pic.twitter.com/1WjGd57fzi

Sitting outside the leader, the JJJ Racing-syndicated gelding was strong to line to defeat Switzerland, the $1.5million Snitzel colt trained by Chris Waller, another Shinzo?
Purchased from Bowness Stud’s 2023 Magic Millions Yearling Sale draft for $60,000 by his trainer (pictured below), connections may be back at this same venue this year where we offer nine yearlings by D’Argento as part of a 20 strong draft that can be viewed here.
We are sending the full brother to Due Calzini to Inglis Classic yearling sale in February as Lot 771.
Welcometotheshow Secures Listed Tontonan Stakes
Putting together four in a row during the December/January period, Tyler Donaldson-Aitken’s progressive Showtime gelding Welcometotheshow bounced back to form on Saturday, securing his first black type victory in the $175,000 Listed VRC Tontonan Stakes (1400m).
It’s In The Blood – Ladies Pro
There’s another potential star filly rising up in the west who’s giving a kick not only to her NSW sire D’Argento (So You Think) but to other facets of an intriguing pedigree.
